Me working on my blog
It has been a busy month so far with Buddy visiting over the Labor Day weekend, my birthday and I was nominated for the One Lovely Blog award by my friends at DogsnPawz . Thank you so much for thinking of me and my blog! Bunny and I work hard on my blog and my social media stuff, so it is really exciting when I am nominated for an award. As with all blogger awards, there are some rules to follow – thank the blog that nominated me which I have already done, share 7 things about myself, and nominate 7 bloggers I admire. These last 2 tasks are always the hardest but with Bunny’s help I finally have them done! Mom says that I am her photo and writing inspiration but for me it is definitely Bunny!
7 things about myself:
- I love dirt and mud puddles, if there is a puddle I am in it with my paws and if possible I like to lie down in it
- According to mom, I spend about 70% of daytime hours sitting in the front window performing my neighborhood watch
- I love being a photo model – mom says photo shoot and I am right there and will do just about anything she wants me to do
- I am considering writing a cookbook since I like to help in the kitchen so much
- The GBGV is not a fully recognized breed yet by the AKC because there are too few of us in the USA
- Learning to climb trees so I can catch squirrels is on the top of my bucket list
- I like to go downstairs around 3 am and howl for no reason – just once and a while

Congrats on your award! Now about this 3 am howling thing, what’s going on with that? Boomer does something similar, he’ll get up around 4 am and start grooming himself. I don’t understand it.
Sometimes I just can’t sleep so I figure why be up alone when I can howl and get some company???

Congrats on all of your awards. It was fun learning all about you, you sound like you’re into the same things as me with getting muddy on the top of the list. I have no interest in squirrels, but my sisters, Leah and Meadow, would trade their favorite toys to take tree climbing lessons from you if you figure out how to get up there and get those squirrels.
